Bonding curve

A new token has no liquidity pool and no order book. Instead it trades against a bonding curve: a pool that holds the supply and sets the price from how much has been bought. Every buy raises the price and every sell lowers it, continuously, so there is always a price and always liquidity. FOMOPRIME uses Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve for every launch. Bonding curve has the maths.

Pre-bond

Pre-bond is the time a token spends on its curve, before graduation. It is the only time the buy gate applies: buys must come from the fomo app or from an X-verified FOMOPRIME account. Sells are open to everyone. Tokens in this stage are marked Gated · fomo + X only.

Graduation

When the curve has raised enough to put the token at a $40K market cap, the curve completes. In that same swap Meteora removes the transfer hook, then moves the liquidity into a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. From then on the token is an ordinary Solana token: anyone can trade it on any app. Tokens in this stage are marked Graduated · open. See Graduation.

Pair asset

The pair asset (or quote asset) is what a token trades against: buyers pay in it and sellers receive it. SOL is the default. Creators can also choose USDC or one of 171 other assets, including tokenized stocks like Tesla or the S&P 500. The graduation target is set in the pair asset when the token launches. See Pair assets.

The buy gate

The buy gate is FOMOPRIME's social_gate program, attached to every FOMOPRIME token as its Token-2022 transfer hook. On each transfer it checks one thing: if tokens are leaving the curve (a buy), the transaction must carry fomo's signature or a one-time FOMOPRIME approval. Everything else passes untouched. The buy gate walks through every check.

Creator fee

The creator picks one trading fee at launch: 1%, 2% or 3%. It is the only fee traders pay on the curve, on buys and sells alike. The creator keeps 60% of it, 20% buys back and burns the FOMOPRIME token, and 20% goes to Meteora. See Creator fees.
